Photography Skills for Kids
This will be a one-on-one workshop for kids with an interest in photography. We will talk about how to improve the photos we take using basic photography principles, touch on color theory and the use of black and white photography, plus cover anything of true interest to your child in terms of photography (for instance, if they have a DSLR and want to learn to use the settings, or if they are very interested in nature, etc). There will be photography assignments designed to be fun while applying some of the principles we discuss together. Any type of camera may be used ( including phone or tablet). 3 sessions, 30-minutes each Kids 8-18 $120 |
Intro to Digital Photography I: Unlocking the Mysteries of Your Digital Camera
This workshop will help you understand how to use the settings on your Digital SLR camera to take better photos! You will also learn tricks of composition and focus, plus how to take great indoor photos without using a flash. Also get an overview of lenses and their uses. Whether you are taking family photos, picking up photography as a hobby, or wondering if photography is something you'd like to pursue, this workshop will help you understand basic principles of photography and allow you to take more polished, professional looking shots! 90 Minutes, Virtual Adults & Teens 14+ $ 175 |
Kids PhotoFun Workshop
This 3-day group workshop is lots of fun for kids of all ages! Filled with activities that will are fun and easy to accomplish for all. Includes some of the activities from my in-person kids workshop and combines with photo games and activities based on the elements of photography we discuss. These include basic principles of composition and subject, color theory and even a pinch of photo history! This will not be "how to use your camera" ( kids can use any camera - including iPhone, tablet, etc), but more for creative fun. Participants will show off their work and see that of their classmates too!
